The Canadian Aeronautics and Space Institute (CASI), Quebec Branch, is excited to welcome you to the closing holiday event of its 2015 Speaker Series, to be held on Wednesday, December 9th from 5:00 ñ 7:00 pm.
There will be a Wine and Cheese to celebrate the holiday season, followed by the talk. Donít miss out!
The presentation will be given by Dr. Karl Moore, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Management and Department of Neurosurgery at McGill University. People intuitively expect those in power to act a certain way ñ expressive, vocal and charismatic ñ like an extrovert. However, some leaders are cast in a different mould. Based on his work with Susan Cainís Quiet Leadership Institute, and research interviews with more than 150 CEOs and senior executives, Dr. Moore will present his new book on how introverts can be excellent leaders.
Key Questions: ï Why do introverts make great leaders? ï Who are some of the most remarkable introvert leaders in aerospace? ï What can extroverts and introverts learn from each other? ï How can introverts and extroverts work more effectively together? The event will be held the 2351 boulevard Alfred Nobel at the BAN Auditorium.
